Share My Secret
Share My Secret is a compilation of four short animations narrated by Australian teenagers living with HIV. The short films give viewers a unique insight into some of the local perspectives of HIV and one of the largest issues impacting the health of young people worldwide.
The interviews were recorded by the ABC and have now been developed by YEAH into a series of short animations to help teachers and students connect with the stories and explore issues surrounding HIV. While the stories themselves focus on the impacts of living with HIV, the central theme of the short films draws attention to a broader issue of how to safely disclose personal information; an issue relevant to many teenagers.
The Share my Secret short films are suitable for classroom viewing and discussion, and emphasise the importance of addressing community stigma and discrimination.
The films are a suitable resource for use in areas of Health and Personal Development
